He is a managing partner and director of the Splendid Hotels Group. The Splendid Hotels Group is a group that is based in Pinner in the United Kingdom since it was founded in 1986. It is a group that develops and acquires hotels based in the United Kingdom. For example, they own and operate hotels such as Holiday Inn and Express by Holiday Inn as well as a couple others. They also have a collection of unbranded hotels in London and Manchester.

Shiraz Boghani is also a founding partner and chairman of Sojourn Hotels LLP. Sojourn Hotels LLP was founded in 2007 and is also based in Pinner, United Kingdom with hotels in London. They however also have hotels in Edinburgh, and Oxford among other places in the United Kingdom. Sojourn Hotels LLP operates portfolios of hotels in the United Kingdom. With the hotels, they manage featuring rooms like Banquet halls, Event rooms, and Lounges as well as Leisure facilities. Shiraz Boghani also established good relationships with larger European firms when he founded Sojourn Hotels LLP.

In 1969 he moved from Kenya to the United Kingdom where he proceeded to study accounting at a small chartered accounting firm. He then went to Thomson McLintock (KPMG) where he proceeded to advance his studies in accounting. In 2016 Shiraz Boghani received the Hotelier of the year honor from the Asian Business Awards. He is also qualified as a chartered accountant due to his schooling, considers the hotel sector his passion, and is considered an educated, innovative, industrious and a forward thinker as well as a very social person whose main goal is to change the economy of the world by creating and establishing Health Care centers and Hotels in many places.
