AIS Healthcare Advances Targeted Drug Therapy and Advanced Infusion Care

For example, patients experiencing primary immunodeficiency receive treatment from a team of nurses. These healthcare workers can administer intravenous and subcutaneous immunoglobulin therapy in several locations, including Maryland, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.

Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month

AIS Healthcare made a point of recognizing March as “Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month.” In order to raise awareness for this condition, it is important that people experiencing it have a voice to be able to tell their stories. Simon Castellanos is the Chief Executive Officer for AIS, and he stated that the medical community is currently able to treat the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. However, he also believes that it is important for the medical community to find a cure for the condition. Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic disease that affects the optic nerves, spinal cord, the brain and the central nervous system.

In addition to recognizing Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, AIS also recognized National Nurses Week in May. With advancements in technology, the duties that nurses provide have expanded exponentially over the years. Most importantly, nurses are the medical personnel who perform the most difficult tasks in the medical community.
