Kelcy Warren Inspiring Career at a Glance

No matter how tough the going gets, there are those persevering souls who don’t give up, and Kelcy Warren is one of those people. Growing up in a small town in Texas, he had big dreams but limited resources. However, this didn’t stop him. Warren has worked hard to become one of the most successful businessmen in America today and he is currently CEO of Energy Transfer.

Kelcy Warren’s parents were also hard workers, and they instilled in him the importance of hard work. He was encouraged to take risks, learn from his mistakes and be persistent in pursuing his passions. As a young man, he had the courage to start working and earned enough to enroll in a college near his home. Here, Kelcy Warren pursued a career in Civil engineering.

According to Kelcy Warren, his father had only a high school education, but this did not deter him from putting in the extra effort to ensure he could put food on the table. This courageous father worked at Sun Oil, where he held several positions, including a field clerk. This strong work ethic has been instilled in Warren and served him well on his path to success. He has also kept a humble attitude, thankful for all the opportunities he’s had along the way. On the other hand, Warren’s mother worked in a departmental store. Although she did not complete her final year of high school, she was determined not to let her children follow the same path.

After graduating from college, Kelcy Warren joined Lone Star Gas Company, where he worked as a pipeline designer engineer. A few years later, he moved to Endevco, an energy development company that he later bought together with one of his partners. They renamed the company Cornerstone Natural Gas and sold it four years later. This sale paved the way to co-founding Energy Transfer.
