Randy Douthit

Randy Douthit is a television executive producer of hit shows such as Modern Family, Two and a Half Men, and The Big Bang Theory. He has been involved with TV for over 30 years and has produced an impressive 22 shows. Douthit started in the entertainment business as an intern for Don Kirshner Productions. It was here that he learned much about the world of television. He then worked for MTM Enterprises, an entertainment company that produced several TV shows. While working for MTM Enterprises, Michael Miller, a well-known producer in the business, mentored him.

Randys’ hard work earned him an award for his role in writing and producing the television show The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. He then produced such hit shows as Cheers, Murphy Brown, Frasier, and ER. Douthit was also nominated for Emmy Awards for his work on Cheers and an Independent Spirit Award for his work on the film The Thing Called Love.
