Robert Kraft , Chief Executive Officer of the New England Patriots

Robert Kraft attended public schools there and graduated from Brookline High School in 1958. As a teenager, he remembers sitting with his father during Red Sox games at Fenway Park.

He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Boston Celtics since 2003, a trustee of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and was on the board of trustees for Boston University. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston; chairman emeritus at John and Abigail Adams Charitable Foundation; former Chairman of The Business Council in Washington, D.C. and former Chairman of the non-profit organization America’s Promise. He is also on the board of overseers at Boston College and trustee at Babson College.

Robert Kraft political affiliations have leaned Democratic, although he has made significant contributions to politicians from both sides of the aisle including donating money to Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Mitt Romney during their presidential campaigns in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He has been married to Linda Calvey Kraft since 1965. They have two adult children, Jonathan and Laura.

Robert Kraft is famous for his philanthropic efforts and worked as a trustee for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation to benefit children. He is also on the board of overseers at Boston College and trustee at Babson College.

On May 6, 2012, Kraft announced he was stepping down from his position as head of the New England Patriots’ charitable foundation. He stated that he would remain on the board of directors and continue to teach ethics with his wife at a new class called “The Kraft’s Rules for Life. Kraft Studios is a new film and production studio built for Robert Kraft in Foxborough. It is a six-floor complex that includes 15 editing rooms and 56 production studios.
