Ross Levinsohn is the new CEO of MAVEN, Inc. He has been a part of sports and business for most of his life and has generated tremendous revenue through quality content. Ross joined Sports Illustrated in 2012, where he had the task of turning the magazine profitable by increasing its digital content. He stayed at the company for about two and a half years before leaving to join Maven, a New York-based media company. He is already doing great things at this company and has adopted a strategy similar to the one he used at Yahoo.

He has 1,220,000 followers on his Twitter page and is slowly building a strong following. He was very close to the Sports Illustrated team when he was still at the company, many people seem impressed by MAVEN’s recent performance, and their new CEO must tap into this sentiment.

MAVEN Inc. slightly missed the analyst estimates for its latest quarter. The company earned $47 million for its fourth quarter, less than the $51 million analysts’ predicted. The revenue from media and content was up by 35% year-on-year, but this was still short of the expectations set by both investors and analysts. Sports Illustrated CEO is trying to make many difficult decisions and is doing his best to ensure the company can stay profitable for the foreseeable future. He has already made some changes at the company, and more changes will come shortly.
